We are a small organic farm located in rural area, an hour south of Montreal, QC.

We are looking for candidates to complete our team for the 2024 season — our seventh year in production!

Our production system includes a bit more than 10000 sq. ft. of greenhouses, biointensive gardens (1.5 acres) and a more extensive, mechanized production for storage crops (2 acres). We also raise pastured laying hens and have small side projects like our cut flower garden. We sell our vegetables through our CSA as members of the Family Farmer Network in Montreal and Saint-Hyacinthe. We also sell to a variety of restaurants in Montreal. Candidates will therefore have the opportunity to perfect their knowledge and skills in different market gardening models and will also have the chance to deepen their understanding of operating with multiple sales channels within our dynamic team environment.

Tasks :

• Take part in propagating and planting crops in the field and in the greenhouse
• Prepare beds
• Assist in irrigation management
• Weed control
• Harvest, wash and pack produce for CSA members and restaurants
• Maintain greenhouse crops (pruning, trellising, etc.)

Other tasks may be added following candidate interests

A few things to consider when applying for this job:

• You will be required to continue to work effectively throughout various conditions (intense heat, rain or shine)
• We may ask you to adjust your schedule because of unforeseen factors (i.e. extreme weather conditions)
• You will perform repetitive tasks sometimes throughout the season

• Full time - April to November, Monday to Friday : 8 am to 5 pm

Salary :

• $15.25/h à $18/h According to experience and responsibilities
• On-farm accommodation
• Free access to vegetables and eggs
