At Alvéole, we install beehives across cities and educate companies, organizations, schools, and families about bees and beekeeping. Operations Manager (Montreal)

This full-time position, managing a team of six people responsible for the core administrative operations of the company, is an opportunity to build a strong and cohesive team and to tackle ever more sophisticated challenges as the company grows. The decisions made in this position impact operations at all levels of the organization.

Organizing projects in sprints with Jira or a similar application
Working in multiple core business departments with a fast-growing business
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage a team of six heads of departments:
Customer Experience, Software Development, Design & Production, Communications & Marketing, Team & Culture and Accounting
Set quarterly & annual priorities and targets for each department
Run biweekly meetings and one-on-one meetings with administrative team members
Support team members in taking important decisions for their departments
Manage software development projects:
Prepare structured biweekly software development work plans (sprints) for the development team and follow-up on progress
Continually work on improving systems and procedures
Plan and manage ongoing projects related to the growth of the company
Terms of Employment
Start date: July 15, 2019
Salary: To be discussed
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
