CAMP MANAGER:

Tundra North Tours is developing the Okpik Arctic Village based out of a bush camp on the Mackenzie Delta, 16km outside of Inuvik, NWT. The Camp Manager would oversee the daily operations of developing the bush camp and manage the labor crew. Currently the focus of the work is clearing land, hauling wood and building cabins. As the camp manager you are responsible for ensuring the efficiency and safety of the work crew, facilitating the day to day operations/maintenance of the camp and keeping the facilities tidy and ready to receive clients. SOCIAL MEDIA AND VIDEO PRODUCTION ASSISTANT:

This position is all about adaptability, organization, and being able to work in a dynamic environment – one day you might be filming a video at the Arctic Village and the next day you might be answering social media messages, planning posts or editing a video at the office. Social media and video production assistant job description


TOUR GUIDE:

In the role of a guide you will be responsible for making sure the tours you have been assigned are appropriately prepped and ready to receive clients pre-arrival. During their stay you will be a main point of contact for clients and will be expected to troubleshoot any issues that arise during tours. The focus of Tundra North Tours’ is to provide culturally immersive experiences therefore a strong knowledge base of the Inuvialuit and Gwich’in culture is an asset. OFFICE ASSISTANT:

As the office assistant you will report to the office manager and be responsible for assisting in the overall organization and administration of the business. Office assistant job description


LABOUR CREW:

The labor crew will be helping with the development of Okpik Arctic Village where the activities will range from clearing brush, debarking logs, milling lumber, building cabins, and general camp maintenance to maintain a clean and orderly facility for our visitors. Labour crew job description


CULTURAL SUMMER STUDENT:

This position is all about working with a team in a dynamic environment, trying your hand at many different roles at the Okpik Arctic Village and finding where you thrive.
