Village Vancouver Transition Society is looking to add energetic and enthusiastic new members to its active and dedicated board. We are actively recruiting new members to support in fundraising, finance and outreach.

We are seeking a board Treasurer, and board Directors (members-at-large).

We're a working board, and board members are expected to attend 4-6 board meetings per year. The board sets vision and direction for the society, oversees effective stewardship of the society's resources and ensures that there are sufficient resources and organizational capacity to carry out our program priorities, and works to increase membership and membership engagement.

Our current priorities include 1) strengthening the internal capacity of Village Vancouver 2) achieve our fundraising goals for long term sustainability and 3) identifying, developing, and nurturing initiatives that demonstrate the principles of sustainability, resilience and regeneration.

Persons applying for the Treasurer's position should also include information on their experience with bookkeeping and/or accounting, and with overseeing the management and reporting of an organization’s finances.
