Position: Residential Planting Program Assistant

LEAF is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the urban forest. Our community-based programs seek to engage residents as active urban forest stewards through accessible, on-the-ground programs. We are currently seeking a Residential Planting Programs Assistant for a nine week contract. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, demonstrate initiative and creativity and have a passion for environmental issues. They will be an independent, motivated team player. The position will offer an excellent opportunity to gain skills and experience working with a non-profit organization that engages the public in creative ways.

This is a 9 week position, 35 hours per week, starting Aug 27, 2018. There is the possibility of up to a three week contract extension. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
