Position: Nextfor Intern
Organization: Centre for Research and Innovation in the BioEconomy (CRIBE)
Location: Thunder Bay, Ontario

Job Description

Provide support to CRIBE with the development and implementation of Nextfor — Ontario's Forest Bio-economy Innovation Network.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Research and benchmarking national and international innovation networks and best practices;
  • Provide support in the development of communications, marketing and governance structure for the network;
  • Conducting research on available technologies and technology readiness;
  • Provide reports and recommendations around value chain development;
  • Support distribution of information and data to network participants.


University or college graduate who has graduated within the last three years from an accredited college or university. The candidate must be a graduate of a post-secondary degree or diploma program. The position will be a first full-time employment in the candidate's field of study.

Graduate with a post secondary education degree or diploma in natural resources, chemical engineering, business or related field.

Candidate must have a strong interest and understanding of the bio-economy.
