NATURE/ WILDERNESS TOURISM JOBS

Positions: Backcountry lodge service and maintenance positions
Lodge: Lake O'Hara Lodge

Location: Yoho National Park (near Banff, Lake Louise, Golden BC)
Housing: room & board provided (see below)
Dates: fall season, approx Aug 25 - Oct 3

Work for the summer in the beautiful mountains of Yoho National Park with some of the best hiking trails in the Rockies at your doorstep!

We're a small family business that offers accommodation and fine dining in our stunning, remote location. Our 25 seasonal staff come from across Canada to live and work in the mountains for our summer season, which runs from early June through the end of September. We're seeking additional staff members to join our team for our fall 2022 season.

Job Requirements

• WORK EXPERIENCE:
• service positions are entry-level
• maintenance positions require some hands-on experience

• CERTIFICATIONS: none required
• PERSONAL TRAITS & ATTRIBUTES: attention to detail, a can-do attitude
• PHYSICAL ABILITY: able to lift and carry moderately heavy items, able to stand for long periods of time
• BONUS SKILLS: ability to play an instrument is an asset!

Terms

• WORK TERM: ~Aug. 25 - Oct. 3
• SCHEDULE: 6 days on, one day off each week; approx. 45-hour work week
• SALARY: $4,350 per month
• ROOM & BOARD: provided for all staff at a cost of $420 per month
