If you love sharing and photographing the wonders of the natural world with guests from around the world, are a passionate, fun loving person, thrive in a tight knit team environment, adore dogs, love pushing yourself through new experiences and winter is your favourite season we would love to hear from you!
For 20 years Winterdance Dogsled Tours — located near the southwest corner of Algonquin Park with 150 Purebred Siberian Huskies in our family — have been running same day tours on our over 2000 acres of private rugged untouched wilderness bordering the park. Our kennel & business were started with the goals of providing an opportunity for the general public to experience this amazing sport and the incredible dogs called "Huskies" and to appreciate the beauty and importance of undeveloped wilderness. Our other goal was to develop a long distance dogsled race team comprised of Purebred Siberian Huskies. Our race team has run the Iditarod and the Yukon Quest becoming the first Canadian Dogsled Touring Company to finish both races. We pride ourselves on the exceptional high standard of care that our dogs receive and our staff and our commitment to them.
This is a new position for our company this year. We are looking for a photographer interested in helping us capture great images of our guests dogsledding. These images will be quickly compiled on a monitor and USB for our guests to view and purchase to take home with them and/or share on their digital platforms. This position is full time for the winter and paid by the hour. All equipment will be provided.
Position will run from December 2nd until the 30th of March (or early April if snow allows)
Interviews will be scheduled with selected candidates in late October/early November.
To apply to join us for an incredible winter, please forward a resume along with references to email@example.com with the subject title "good work job posting". We look forward to hopefully meeting you!

Do the dogs enjoy pulling sleds? "All you have to do is watch the hook up and the excitement that the dogs show by howling, lunging, barking to know they love doing what they were born & breed for generations to do." http://www.winterdance.com/faq.php
