About Second Harvest
Rescuing and delivering fresh, surplus food since 1985. Second Harvest is the largest food rescue program in Canada. Since 1985, Second Harvest has been picking up donated, surplus food, which would otherwise go to waste, and delivering that food to community agencies in Toronto. Currently, Second Harvest delivers rescued food to over 225 social service agencies.
Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for crafting and delivering the Second Harvest message across all channels, specifically: assist in developing the strategy and managing the execution of all Second Harvest web properties and e-communications; supporting the direct marketing fundraising program and leading other integrated marketing campaigns. The purpose of the communications department is to increase awareness of the brand in support of our fundraising, food raising and volunteer goals.

About Second Harvest:
Second Harvest is the largest food rescue program in Canada. We have been rescuing donated, surplus food, which would otherwise have gone to waste, since 1985 and delivering it to community agencies across Toronto. We currently partner with 225 agencies supporting 591 programs, providing enough food for 25,000 meals a day for hungry people in the city.
