Soaring Eagle Nature School (SENS) is a Vancouver based school that offers unique nature based programs to youth, teens and adults. Our mission at Soaring Eagle Nature School is to empower people to discover and share their gifts through meaningful connections with the natural world. We honour the natural cycles within people and use their own excitement and curiosity to guide their learning and their connections to themselves, the earth and other people.
Soaring Eagle Nature School is seeking a Director
This is an opportunity to step into a well-established nature based school as Director, interfacing with staff, students, families and the logistical side of the business. SENS is going in to its 10th year as a business and is growing each year. You should be passionate about hands-on nature education and supporting youth in their connections to the natural world in a non-coercive and supportive way, and want to bring nature connection into the lives of youth and adults in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. We are looking for a committed, dedicated and resourceful individual to be Director of this school.

Salary and conditions:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The salary range is $38,000 - $48,000 a year. Potential for up to 3 weeks vacation per year. This position can be a 4-day work week, or shorter days on 5 day/week schedule. Some travel around the Lower Mainland will be required. Office work is required, as well as site visits and in the field visits.
Position will start mid-to end of March to allow for ample training time and overlap with current Director.
