This position will involve carpentry and project coordination and management. While you won’t spend much time at a desk, you need to be as effective with paperwork and organization as you are with a hammer.

The Essentials: This position requires, at minimum, 5 years residential construction work experience as a carpenter, and a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or site management context.

The basics:

  • Journeyman carpenter Red Seal certification (or equivalent certification or experience)
  • a valid drivers’ license and reliable vehicle;
  • able to communicate via email and/or text during regular working hours;
  • own a complete carpenter’s tool belt;
  • physically capable of regular construction duties such as:
    • working on elevated structures
    • lifting and carrying 50+ pounds

Wages commensurate with experience, and will be a living wage for the region.
