EcoSpark Backgrounder: EcoSpark is an environmental charity that empowers people to take an active role in protecting and sustaining nature. We do this by giving people the tools for education, monitoring and influencing positive change. We have a strong reputation in the areas of education, citizen science, community engagement and collaboration. Position Description: EcoSpark is seeking a visionary, dynamic and committed individual with an entrepreneurial spirit for the position of Interim Executive Director. We are looking for an individual with broad-based environmental knowledge who possesses proven skills in strategic plan implementation; operational planning and financial management; evaluation and reporting; program design and proposal writing; revenue generation; and partnership development.

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with experience)
Start Date and Duration: 16-month contract, beginning October 1, 2018
Location: Toronto, ON with travel as needed within the Greater Golden Horseshoe
