About Us
Shelter Overland Van Co. is a new company dedicated to building skookum Campervans in Mercedes Sprinters. We aim to be the new family cabin to help people get outside. We are not a traditional RV company. We focus on using natural, durable, green materials, and the best gear out there; while also contributing to social and environmental causes that the team will help choose.

Location
We are located in two warehouse bays in Esquimalt Industrial Park, across the Inner Harbour from Victoria. The shop is just off the Galloping Goose Trail if you prefer to ride to work, which we encourage.

Work Environment
We are building an outdoorsy, friendly, and diverse staff. We have zero tolerance for racism, or sexism, or generally poor behaviour. So if you’re a skilled minority, or just tired of working on negative job sites, we’re where you want to be. Everyone at Shelter will help keep the ship afloat: all positions include sweeping and mopping, and talking to potential customers about your work.

Renumeration
We are a living wage employer looking to retain skilled, reliable, and conscientious workers. We offer flexible work schedules if you prefer to start early, or later; work weekends, or take them off - when the powder falls, the swell picks up, or the kids are sick. We offer a range of part-time to full-time employment, but will require the majority of work to be done in house. We aim to have profit sharing up and running by the end of year one, along with ownership options.
