Senior Program Analyst (3 positions, 12 to 18 month assignments)

Position: Senior Program Analyst
Organization: GreenON / Green Ontario Fund
Location: Downtown Toronto, Ontario

GreenON is seeking customer-focused and results-oriented industry experts to fill the role of Senior Program Analyst. The Senior Program Analysts will deliver designated sector focused programs aimed at fighting climate change and protecting the environment by accelerating the deployment of low-carbon solutions and reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from new and existing Ontario residences and businesses, and from the production of goods. Programs will include rebates and incentives, education and awareness building, financing, and market transformation initiatives.

In this role you will provide input to ensure that programs adequately consider customer needs and are able to incentivize Ontarians to take actions to reduce their carbon footprint, providing oversight of these programs in market and as implemented by third part program delivery partners. You will also prepare a range of program materials, including marketing, communications, and stakeholder engagement plans, and engage with stakeholders to establish partnerships and collaboratively resolve issues on program matters.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of program design and delivery architecture with proven program skills to deliver innovative, evidence-based, highly technical energy programs.
  • Technical knowledge of energy systems and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and their impact on the environment and Ontario’s carbon footprint. Market sector specialty knowledge in one of the following areas: buildings and the production of goods combined with knowledge of one or more market segments such as residential, multi-family, social/low-income housing, indigenous communities, mixed use, retail and trade, office, food processing, logistics and warehousing, metal processing and fabrication, auto assembly and parts, general manufacturing, large industry. Understanding of the barriers to the adoption of low carbon technologies
  • Experience in business case development, financial modelling, risk management, and contract management
  • Expertise working with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Customer focused and results orientation combined with values in transparency and accountability.
