Monforte is Southwestern Ontario's premier artisanal cheese company. Monforte Dairy is looking for an apprentice.
We make small batch cheeses from Water Buffalo, cow, sheep and goats milk. Our goal is to source as much milk from local producers as possible. We age our own cheese, prepare it for farmers markets and sell direct to restaurants.
Working at Monforte means being part of the whole process, we love people to try their hands as every aspect of the company. Depending on the candidate we can offer between 4 and 6 day work weeks. Ideally we want our employees to sell at a farmers market as well.
