Allweather Landscape is a Toronto based firm, providing award winning, design, build and maintenance services since 1981. We are passionate about enhancing the landscape experience and continuing to be an industry leader. We strive to promote eco-friendly services and sustainable practices in many ways including:

  • Sourcing material locally (from plants to soils, mulches, equipment etc…)
  • Incorporation of best practices which promote biodiversity starting from the ground up.
  • Advocating and using composted mulch fines, leaf mould and  worm castings  in place of synthetic fertilizers, improving the soil profile in our gardens is the first step to creating biodiversity in our landscapes.
  • Choosing plants that fit the space rather than altering the space to fit the plant, reducing the need for added irrigation, soil and nutrients.
  • We work in the downtown core of Toronto, with rooftop gardens and terraces, storm water management is always at the forefront, reducing the amount of runoff, increasing absorptive surfaces etc.
  • Ravine restoration planting is also a large part of the work we do in Toronto.
