Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to help coordinate and co-manage our therapeutic horticulture program. You will play a pivotal role in organizing activities, managing resources, and facilitating a supportive environment for program participants. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing therapeutic horticulture activities and workshops.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to tailor programs to participants' needs.
• Overseeing garden maintenance and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
• Providing guidance and support to volunteers and staff involved in the program.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of the program and making necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience in horticulture, gardening, or related fields.
• Understanding of therapeutic techniques and their application in horticulture.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or training in therapeutic horticulture (preferred).
