• We work in the downtown core of Toronto, with rooftop gardens and terraces, storm water management is always at the forefront, reducing the amount of runoff, increasing absorptive surfaces etc.
• Ravine restoration planting is also a large part of the work we do in Toronto.

Summary

The Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader is responsible for performing a variety of work tasks in order to manage the timely completion of grounds maintenance service contracts. The Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader will be required to supervise a crew of laborers and operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specified job tasks, as well as provide daily progress reporting on job time.

Qualifications

• Must have informal/formal training and experience in the field of Horticulture, Landscape Design / Construction or related field
• Must have experience in a leadership position
• 3+ years of experience in a landscaping position
• Strong knowledge in landscaping tools, equipment, and plant care
• Valid 'G' driver's license and a clean abstract
