Stand is hiring a Forest Campaigner to play a key role in advancing forest protection efforts in Canada. This position is central to planned efforts to support improved forest conservation policies and new protected areas and will expand our ability to hold some of the world’s biggest corporations accountable for their environmental impacts.

The Forest Campaigner will be responsible for advancing our Canadian forest strategy which involves working in coalition on place-based conservation efforts, improved forest policies, supporting indigenous conservation leadership initiatives, and supporting markets campaign work related to reducing the impacts that the pulp and paper, solid wood, and biomass industries are having on Canadian forests. Our forest campaign also works with stakeholders in Canada to achieve large-scale forest protection agreements. This is a full-time salaried position with excellent benefits - the salary range is $65,657 - $91,9200 CAD ($50,000 - $70,000 USD) commensurate with experience. Location: This position will be based in British Columbia (Vancouver or Nelson BC preferred and is open to other locations in Canada).
