Position: Organic certification inspector
Company: Ecocert Canada
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Want to join the Canadian leader in Organic certification? Ecocert Canada, which works in the field to ensure compliance with specifics standards for the production, preparation and distribution of organic and fair-trade products, is seeking to fill a vacant Organic certification Inspector position. You will be directly attached to the Organic Certification Inspector manager.

TASKS

You will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

  • Task 1: Contact and schedule inspections with the customers
  • Task 2: Prepare and conduct inspections
  • Task 3: Make and send inspection reports to the certification team

JOB PROFILE

Diploma: any related diploma in agriculture and/or food processing

Experience: An asset

Technical skills

  • Knowledge of organic standards will be considered an asset
  • Mastery of Office Suite software
  • Valid driver’s license

Behavioral skills

  • Autonomy
  • Ability to organize, prioritize tasks
  • Great observation skills
  • Rigor

REMUNERATION

Based on professional experience and in respect of the salary scale

Type of contract:

4 months contract (May to the end of August)
