Farm Help: Jocelyn's Soil Booster Production Coordinator

Farm worker required starting immediately for role of Soil Booster Production Coordinator.

As we head into our busy spring season this position will primarily be responsible for on-farm labour including worm husbandry, harvesting worm castings, drying/ bagging product, preparing shipments for distribution and managing inventory/supplies. The employee will also provide additional support for our aquaponics growing system (including weekly harvesting) and our permaculture garden beds (including seeding, bed prep and seedling care).

Terms:

• $15/hour up to 35 hours per week.
• 5 month contract includes a 3 month trial period.

Willing to train the right candidate, but must be a hard worker, able to do repetitive, physical work. All candidates should have a proven track record of working in a physically demanding position and must be able to repeatedly lift 30 lbs. Previous experience on a farm or in manual labour is an asset. Due to COVID, we will have a limited crew on site so applicant must be comfortable working alone.

Farm is located in Mono, 10 m east of Orangeville. No accommodation available.
