Are you passionate about environmental monitoring, stewardship, and education in a cross-cultural environment? Plenty Canada is currently seeking candidates to coordinate this summer’s environmental stewardship program. As an Indigenous-led organization, Plenty Canada applies both Indigenous and western knowledge systems to our environmental enhancement projects under the guiding principles of ‘Ethical Space” and ‘Two-Eyed Seeing’ and as such we welcome applicants who are interested in developing their competencies in applying these principles.

The successful candidate will work with the Plenty Canada’s Program Coordinators and program partners from Shabot Obaadjiwan First Nation, The Eastern Ontario First Nations Working Group, Conservation Authorities, Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve, the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, other First Nations the Eastern Ontario Model Forest, Ontario Nature, other NGO’s, Guelph University, Trent University (Department of Indigenous Environmental Studies and Sciences) and other academic institutions.
