Position: Environmental Technician
Company: Cabin Resource Management
Location: Vernon, BC

Hello! How the heck are you? We are super, thanks so much for asking! Cabin is expanding its Environmental Division in the Okanagan and we want to work with you! Are you an ecologically-minded individual who likes being outside? Do you enjoy enhancing habitat, stabilizing slopes and restoring waterways and lands? Well, look no further for engaging, fun and adventurous work!


  • BSc. in environmental science, forestry or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2 years minimum experience with one or more of: environmental planning, ecological construction, habitat enhancement, instream works, erosion control or remediation
  • Understanding of Federal and Provincial environmental regulations
  • Bonus points – experience with heavy machinery, bioremediation, agroforestry, trail building, ArcGIS
  • Willing to work in the field and travel in BC
  • Willing to assist on recreation projects if needed
  • Alignment with Cabin core values and Mission Statement


  • Wage and biannual bonus based on experience, competency and length of service
