Positions: Frontline Campaigner
Organization: Toronto Environmental Alliance
Location: Toronto, Ontario

The Toronto Environmental Alliance (TEA) has exciting opportunities for environmentally minded, well spoken and passionate individuals to join our front-line engagement team.

For more than 30 years, TEA has been Toronto’s environmental watchdog at city hall. TEA campaigns locally to create equitably green solutions for urban environmental issues. We proudly work alongside and for the eclectic and vibrant community that is our city.

FUN FACT: TEA is the reason Toronto has Green bins! (We think that’s pretty cool)

Face to face conversations are the cornerstone of effective community organizing and engagement. Our door to door canvass campaigners work hard to communicate TEA’s work, and raise crucial funds for our organization. Individual’s donations are the lifeblood of the nonprofit sector. Without them we cannot speak openly, freely and passionately at city hall for our community.

Don’t be fooled, this is not a sales job, nor is it your average fundraising job. The position is unique in that it entails not only raising critical funds, but galvanizing supporters to affect policy change and educate the public.

Really care about social and environmental organizations and want to work directly for one? This is the place!
