Position: After-School Nature Program Lead

We are seeking an energetic, creative and passionate candidate to lead our Nature-themed after-school programs in the Tri-cities region (i.e. Coquitlam, Prot Coquitlam and Port Moody).
Duties and Responsibilities
Delivery of our nature-themed after-school program to children ages 6-8 in our fall or spring semesters (8-weeks/semester).
Maintain the safety and security of students during the program
Organize, plan and deliver nature-themed activities, games, and learning both indoors and outdoors
Keeping track of registrations
Development and incorporation of new ideas into the program
Qualifications, skills, and abilities
Excellent group management skills
A self-starter with the ability to work independently and problem-solve
Experience working with children in a teaching and outdoor setting as a lead
Organized and resourceful
Must have access to a vehicle
Willingness to secure First Aid certification and criminal record check
Enjoy working indoors and outdoors, rain or shine
Environmental studies or related post-secondary education preferred
