Brooke Valley School is an alternative private school for grades 1 through 8. We are celebrating over 40 years as a parent run cooperative. The school is located in a rural setting on 5 acres of land blessed with open fields, hills, mixed forests and a pond for science studies and ice skating.
We stay connected to our natural world through outdoor play and field study. We generally follow provincial curriculum guidelines, enhancing them with an arts and outdoor learning focus. We encourage the expression and social-emotional development of each unique child through theater, music, creative writing, and outdoor learning. We are also a registered charitable foundation.
Commitment: September- June: Full Time (24 hours/week teaching time).
Start date: May 17th, 2021. (Start date can be flexible to accommodate candidate's availability).
