Position: Digital Marketing Leader

Based in Toronto, Small Change Fund is seeking a Digital Marketing Leader who is creative, entrepreneurial, talented and motivated.

This full-time position is for an energetic self-starter with a passion for making a difference, and eager to contribute to an ambitious NGO. We work with many partners and leaders across Canada on environmental, Indigenous and poverty issues.

The ideal candidate will conceptualize, design and implement a broad range of digital initiatives. S/he has worked in junior roles and is ready to make the leap into a leadership role.

The responsibilities include:

• Reimagining our crowdfunding platform and bringing it online as best-in-class within a short timeline.
• Managing all digital communications, from the day-to-day and routine, to major programs and spontaneous campaigns.
• Managing the relationship with our partners, including all its contractual, administrative and data management details.
• Being fearless and creative in developing new ideas, pushing all conventional boundaries.
• Raising funds for the organization though digital marketing using timely and sophisticated approaches.
• Designing and executing fundraising campaigns from conventional to cryptocurrency.
• Programming basic web-site requirements, and work with developers for more sophisticated web applications.
• Getting done what needs to get done, even if that means getting your hands dirty on administivia and boring details.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in digital marketing
• Degree or Diploma in relevant field
• Working knowledge of WordPress
• Capacity to do basic graphic design to avoid paying for external suppliers
• Video production experience including shooting and post-production work
• Understanding of advertisement placement on Google, Facebook and other digital platforms
• Proficiency in all major Microsoft, Adobe and Google software platforms
• Highly organized with a superb attention to details
• Collaborative personality, showing an ease in dealing with partners, funders and suppliers
• Fluency in French is an asset

Compensation:

A base annual salary of $40,000 is coupled with a performance bonus based on specific criteria for up to $60,000 per year. Add paid vacation for three weeks and a closed office between Christmas and New Years’ Day. No other benefits are available.

Implications of COVID:

You will work at home until the pandemic is over, and then both at home and at a home-based office near Christie and Bloor.
