Position: Analyst, Climate Policy or Transportation and Urban Solutions (Toronto)
Organization: Pembina Institute
Location: Toronto, Ontario
The Pembina Institute seeks a highly motivated individual to join its Toronto team as an analyst who will research and advocate for solutions to accelerate Canada’s transition to a clean energy economy at the local, regional and national levels. The scope of work may include climate and economic policy, as well as the interaction of transportation systems with the built environment.

The ideal candidate is excited about crunching the numbers behind policy and business decisions and knows where to find the right data and how to build economic models. We’re looking for someone who cares about the environment and knows we have a responsibility to protect it; a problem-solver who knows what questions to ask to get at the root of today’s challenges; and an active follower of economic policy, climate policy, transportation, or urban solutions trends, blogs and thought leaders.
This role will require engagement with diverse stakeholders, including municipal, provincial and federal governments, academics, industry, communities and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to support the development and implementation of good transportation and climate policies.
This competition may also be used to fill a Senior Analyst position.
