Hiring: Chef, full time
Restaurant: The Green Door Restaurant
Location: Main Street, Ottawa, Ontario

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a great team at Ottawa’s oldest vegetarian restaurant.

We take pride in the fact that all of our food is made on-site from scratch using local & organic ingredients. We are looking for a passionate and hardworking individual to join our team!

Chef: 30-40 hours/week

The Green Door is seeking to add a key player to our kitchen team. The candidate must be open minded and have a passion for the vegan & vegetarian cuisine.

• Availability needed – weekdays and weekends.
• Previous chef experience and cooking in large quantities is a necessity, though one-on-one training will be provided.
• Must be able to work efficiently, think on their feet & adapt to unexpected challenges.

• Must be conscientious of ingredient costs & waste, and be able to comprehend & contribute to the entire workings of the Green Door restaurant.
• Long term position. Continued professional growth is to be expected.
