Position: Customer Service Specialist
Organization: BluPlanet Recycling Inc.
Location: Calgary, Alberta

BluPlanet is a Calgary based waste and recycling service provider working to change how we view waste as a society. Through superior customer service and operational transparency, we have quickly grown into Calgary’s largest recycling service provider. As an expanding company, we are looking for an amazing individual to help make a difference in Calgary.

Reporting to the Manager of Business Development, the Customer Service Specialist (CSS) will be responsible for an important group of client communication and administrative tasks aimed at maintaining and improving the quality of services provided to our clients.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct site reviews and prospective client meetings to develop service plans and proposals for new services or service changes.
  • Complete and execute problem resolution that arises from email/phone messages from clients or staff.
  • Customer issue management and quality control.
  • Manage program improvement and changes.
  • Manage and refer partner reward and recognition.
  • Execute and provide support to Operations staff for new program implementation.

Competencies/Requirements for Role

  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Positive attitude
  • Experience in customer service; in-person and through electronic channels
  • Business degree, diploma, or equivalent experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication, relationship and team building skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $50,000 to $70,000

Health benefits, annual bonus and RSP plan provided to all full-time employees.
