Position: Business Development Officer
Organization: EnvironFocus Incorporated
Location: Mississauga, GTA, Ontario

Eligibility: 30 or younger
Term: 6 months but may be extended

Our focus is on improving the sustainability performance of organizations and communities through activities that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Network, develop and maintain an excellent line of communication for Corporate Social Investor Leads
  • Understand strategic priorities, business needs, pain points, and opportunities to sell the CSI programs.
  • Develop awareness and elevate the EnvironFocus Brand for the CSI programs
  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers in various organizations and other key target markets
  • Complete required weekly reports on activities
  • Respond and follow-up to organic inquiries from leads, and ensure follow up is complete within the lead cycle
  • Meet targets set out monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Stay informed and become an expert in Corporate Social Investments and Environment Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) – must be able to provide updated reports on the conditions of the market as well as competitors rates
  • Report sales activity and new account development progress by updating the CRM database regularly maintaining and tracking the new accounts and opportunities pipeline

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • Knowledge of Corporate Social Investments and Environment Social and Corporate Governance (ESG)
  • Experience working in a sales environment/accounts acquisition with success in achieving sales targets
  • Have a University degree/ Recent Graduate
  • A successful track record of sourcing new business and accessing new markets
  • Ability to leverage industry, business, and personal contacts
  • Entrepreneurial spirit is a definite asset
  • Professional presentation skills to communicate the benefits of our services
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good understanding of Sales Cycle
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Results-oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service

Applicants must be Under 30 years old. 

Start date is asap. $20/hr 30 hrs per week. Option to work remotely is available until covid restrictions are completely lifted.
