Position Overview
The Communication Coordinator is responsible for creating and implementing a variety of tactics that ensure a strong and consistent message is delivered across all channels. The successful candidate will have experience in creating content for diverse audiences and a passion for sharing stories that showcase how we are protecting birds and their habitat. This Communications role will support the coordination of French translation for the organization and execute campaigns and social media in French. They will also support digital communications like website, social media and content creation.
This full-time role reports to the Manager of Brand Communications and is fully remote, with the possibility of periodic travel for offsite team meetings and public engagement events. Applications for this role are due by Friday, December 8, 2023.
Total Compensation
Birds Canada is proud to offer an exceptional Total Compensation Package, including a competitive starting salary and 5% RRSP matching after 12 months of service. In addition, staff enjoy a primarily employer-paid extended benefits package including health and dental coverage, Basic Group Life Insurance, Group out-of-province travel insurance, Vision, ADD&D and short- and long-term disability coverage. We offer all staff 4 weeks’ vacation per year to start along with 12 personal health days and additional paid vacation days between Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Starting Salary: $46,154 - $49,231 commensurate with your experience.
