Position: Senior Consultant – Clean Energy Transition
Organization: Dunsky Energy Consulting
Location: Our ideal candidate would work out of our Montreal office, but we may consider other locations if they bring value.
Dunsky Energy Consulting is a mission-driven consulting firm specialized in sustainable energy strategies. We help our clients – primarily North American governments, utilities, private firms and non-profits – build a more sustainable future by assessing market-wide energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable mobility opportunities; by designing programs, policies and strategies to accelerate their adoption; and by evaluating (and improving) their performance.
You are a leader. You are well-organized, able to clearly communicate concepts and build relationships, and have proven your ability to successfully manage projects, both technical and strategic. You know how to hone in on the real questions; to turn data into a clear narrative; to boil down complex issues without oversimplifying. Your insights are appreciated. You project confidence without grandstanding, you know how to listen, and you care deeply about getting it right. You’re a buck-stops-here type, with an eye for detail.
Ideally, you have a deep familiarity with clean energy issues, and have an analytical background that helps you understand, interpret and dig into the nuts and bolts when needed. You know how to write winning proposals. Your French is top-notch and your English is very strong. And, last but not least, you are motivated by a deep desire to make the world a better place.
Our ideal candidate would work out of our Montreal office, but we may consider other locations if they bring value.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant with leadership qualities and potential. You will manage projects for clients in Québec, Canada and the U.S., and advise key decision-makers and influencers on sustainable energy strategies.
Specifically, you will lead projects and their teams, manage client relationships, lead proposals and develop business opportunities. You will oversee work to completion; present work to clients; ensure methodologies are rigorous; write reports and present results. You will be responsible for upholding our promise of quality – on analytics, on insights and on presentation.
We offer competitive salaries and a range of employee benefits including flexible hours, summer schedules, annual bonuses, group health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan contribution, discounts on public transit and bikeshare, and more. Our office is located in a LEED™ Platinum building, in the heart of Montreal, designed as a test bed for sustainable technologies and practices.
We are also committed to offer our team professional development and learning opportunities, and we do our best to offer our staff experience in a diversity of projects that may interest them.
