Creative Learning for Young Water/Environmental Leaders
Interactive Professional Development Workshop Series

To connect community members with their waters, young people need creative skills to pair with their water expertise! Join this 4-part professional development workshop series to enhance your creative skills!

What’s included?:

  • Workshop 1: Feb. 9th, 2021 — Personal water-leadership storytelling for science communications & networking!
  • Workshop 2: Feb. 16th, 2021 — First Nations Water Storytelling with Grandmother Kim Wheatley & Special Guests
  • Workshop 3: Feb. 23rd, 2021 — Creative Writing & Storytelling for Climate & Water Impact
  • Workshop 4: Mar. 2nd, 2021 — Filming & Video Production Skills Training

Workshops are online Tuesday Mornings Feb. 9th – Mar. 2, 2020, at 8 am PT / 11 am ET. Each workshop is one hour.

Reusable Media Guide: To guide you in using content and social media to enhance your water project’s and personal presence in the water sector

Contest-entering opportunity with $300 Prize: Produce a video of your creative writing project that will incorporate knowledge-sharing about water with creative storytelling (prize given to one winner, in the form of gift cards to local stores of their choice, in an effort to support local businesses)

Cost: $40
