If we love our kids, we must strive for peace. Peace is not just the absence of conflict. If we simply try to avoid aggression, or worse still “fight fire with fire”, it can come back bigger than before. Rather, peace takes learning, speaking out, working together.
In the age of climate disruption, floods, droughts and food shortages, violence could overtake us, if we let it. Can we learn how to effectively resolve conflict, deal with violence and agression? Wil we rise to the challenge, for our children's sake?
Peace does not mean inaction, simply avoiding conflict. Let's work together to build peace in our homes, our communities, our world...
