VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Organization: 10000 Trees for the Rouge
Location: GTA / Markham, Ontario

10000 Trees is an all-volunteer run charity organization that hosts community tree planting events in the Rouge River Watershed.

All events are free and open to the public. Join us for a day in the Rouge and help protect the environment by planting trees. We are looking for volunteers to plant and mulch trees in the Markham area.

No experience required. Registration is required. Volunteer hours are provided.

Fall 2023 Events:

• Sat September 23, 2023 — Monarch Park, Markham, ON.
• Sat Oct 14 to Sun Oct 15, 2023 — Rouge National Urban Park, Pickering, ON. Park at the Mount Joy GO Station in Markham, ON.

We have 800 volunteers spots open this fall and we will be planting 2800 trees, shrubs and wildflowers.
