Needed: Organic Farm Volunteers
Farm: The Cutting Veg
Location: Sutton/Georgina, Lake Simcoe, Ontario (near Toronto)
Interested in volunteering on an organic farm near Toronto?
Helping out on the farm is a great opportunity to learn practical growing skills, and to meet wonderful like-minded folks.
Volunteer activities include a combination of planting, weeding, harvesting, preparing veg for market, plant care, etc.
Our veggie farm is approximately 1 hour from Toronto. We specialise in growing garlic (50,000+ bulbs per year, 24 varieties), and also grow rhubarb, onions, kale, salad mix, arugula, and a few other crops.
We welcome volunteers on the farm Fridays and Sundays, from April to October.
No committment necessary. Come weekly or just a few times per season.
