EcoCooks School Program
EcoCooks is a collaboration between Elements Society and Unbounded Canada Foundation. Together, we are on a mission to empower youth to take climate action by connecting how our food choices impact the planet. EcoCooks School is delivered in Grade 7-12 classrooms across Calgary and Metro Vancouver covering topics that range from climate change and land use to food waste, the future of food and more.
Zero Waste Place Program
Working with the City of Vancouver, Elements delivers waste literacy workshops to students in Grades K-10 across the City. Highlights include school yard waste cleanups, upcycling activities and poster campaigns.
Volunteer Educator: Role & Responsibilities
Volunteer Educators support staff with the delivery of the EcoCooks School and Zero Waste Place programs in the classroom. Volunteers help guide students in through engaging environmental and cooking lessons. Tasks may include:
